I’m no fan of her politics, but your “bimbo” comment is not only sexist, it’s stupid. She has a J.D. from Albany Law School, and was also an associate editor of the Albany Law Review. She also worked for international Law firm Jones Day as an attorney for credit bureau Experian. She was also an associate for Bickel & Brewer LLP, and co-wrote an article for the ABA journal Litigation.

No, that does not make her brilliant, but she’s certainly not a “bimbo”. And on many occasions she has called out fellow talking heads on FOX for their BS, including making Karl Rove like the complete BS artist he is. Good for her on that.

CNN would love to have her, along with Shep Smith. But FOX has more cash to throw around.

??? She got a JD from Albany Law School, was an associate editor for their Journal, worked for 9 years as a Lawyer for an international Law firm. No, that does not make her brilliant, but it also does not make her dumb. She’s pretty smart.

And looks wise, she actually is an attractive and fit woman. In full length shots she definitely has an ass and upper body that look fine, and facially she is attractive.

I just don’t like her politics. But your sophomoric slandering of her appearance and intelligence is just silly.

Exactly, Maddow and O’Reilly are both a joke, though Bill is a MUCH bigger joke. But the problem is indeed that this had turned to entertainment, not news. Maddow and O’Reilly want RATINGS, and will do whatever it takes to get them.

Exactly. And one of the biggest problems is the “us versus them” mentality that these so-called sources of news generate. I’m sure we’ve all heard conservative friends of ours bash CNN’s ratings vs. Fox News ratings as they think that’s somehow some sort of metric to gauge public sentiment by. Or the “you guys do it to, you all watch Maddow!” meme. CNN’s ratings are low because even liberals don’t want to watch (at least I like to believe this). The idea that there are somehow liberal outlets of news that all liberals supposedly watch is just as disheartening that full-bore right wing propaganda networks like Fox News exist.
