And, sadly, we have learned from experience that if we think it can’t get worse we need only wait 24 hours (or less).
The thing that continues to give me a modicum of hope is the fact that Donnie has clearly lost control of the narrative - the stories for the past week have been about tariffs, hearings, scheduling of appearances before hearings, subpoenas, Donnie’s attempts to threaten war in various locations around the world, Burr’s calls for Donnie Jr., soybean farmers, more tariffs, and on and on and on. He’s in total reactive mode and the flop sweat is starting to show.
Now, will he ride it all out? Some will say yes, but I’m waiting for another round of Kamala Harris asking some questions, more of Elizabeth Warren slamming reprehensible behaviors, and yes, McGahn, Mueller and maybe Rosenstein sitting down for a little chat.
So for those who blame this all on the Dem leadership because “THEY JUST DIDN’T IMPEACH HIM IN JANUARY, 2018!”, let’s give it all a few more weeks. If your cake isn’t quite baked, turning up the heat and yelling at the stove doesn’t actually help at this point…

after a few years maybe its starting to dawn on me, I keep using commonly accepted definitions of words when what I should be doing is using tRUmpian accepted definitions of words
in the tRUmpian world, perhaps great treatment of families actually means family separation, child molestation, and sleeping on the ground under a bridge
