Yeah, it’s true, they have a mutual admiration thing going on. As a Patriots fan, I just have to compartmentalize–I will take Brady’s football talents, and leave his political opinions.

As a lifelong Patriots fan, I am yooogely troubled by this, and wish Brady had kept his politics to himself. I doubt I will be able to compartmentalize this, though I applaud your effort to do so. I still have trouble enjoying any memories of Curt Schilling’s courageous pitching in the 2004 ALCS – he should have kept his mouth shut as well. And yet he never endorsed any blowhard as blatanty hideous as Trump.

He endorsed Dick Cheney for vice president, and Cheney is a hundred times worse than Trump.

Cheney turned out a hundred times worse than Trump is at present. But when Cheney was on the ticket as VP, I disagree that he was worse than Trump. It’s hard to measure such revolting things – it’s like comparing flesh-eating viruses – but Cheney at least had a history in government, as a five-term Congressional representative and a Cabinet member. It’s hard to turn back the clock to imagine Cheney prior to the devastation he authored in Iraq, but I suggest, without hyperbole, that if Donald Trump – who is a talentless, lying, blowhard egomaniac – is elected President, the end of the planet is at hand.
It’ll end so fast your head will spin until it’s not there anymore…

A liar and a cheat endorses Trump. Something to be so very proud of. Brady already remarked he’s looking forward to a putting green on the WH lawn.

Trump is like Zaphod Beeblebrox, but not as cool.
Something about transcendent Boston athletic icons. First there is Curt Schilling of te bloody sock, then Tim Thomas the Bruins Stanley Cup winning MVP goalie and now Tom Brady. My guess is that they use up too any brain cells becoming the tops in their field to have any left over to actually think about anything else.
In each case their right-wing flirtations will damage their legacies more than any on field events, real or imagined (looking at you Roger Goodell), ever will.
Bet you would have spent the time to actually read and study the phony case the NFL tried to drum up against Brady if he were a Democrat or you weren’t a fan of the Jests, Dolts or Cravens.
