1 year of college? Yes. That year was the hardest because it took me two years to get through it. I did the year abroad thing (not Australia ). That decision put me onto the 6-year program for the 4-year degree, which ended up being worthless (BA, English), forcing me to get more schooling (MRCP, city planning) to get a decent job.
