Discussion: Phoenix Mayor Calls On Trump To Delay Planned Campaign Rally After C'Ville

This is gonna be rich if El Bufon refuses.

If he cancels it I can’t wait to hear the his statement continuing the Precision Sniping of his feet.

Yah Think?

Trump NEEDS a slavish tongue-bath to salve his bruised ego after the firestorm he poured gasoline on with his deranged speech.

His EGO DEMANDS a “Nuremberg Rally” and what better place than Arizona, where the armed militia-types will show up (heavily armed) in droves to bow down to his Genius.
If AntiFa also shows up, I predict a blood-bath as the Nazis, Oath-Keepers, and Anti-Government Militias are salivating at the prospect of actually KILLING PEOPLE. It is their deeply-cherished wet dream to do so and this will be the excuse they have been looking for (with the tacit approval of the local police and sheriffs who will LOVE Trump for “Pardoning” that racist scum Arpaio.)

Postpone? How about fuck off and never come here? That’s what everyone needs to do with this fat pig.

“enflame emotions and further divide our nation”.

Tradmark that puppy, Mr. Mayor, or the Trump 2020 campaign will grab it as their campaign slogan.

This doesn’t happen every day, to put it mildly. I don’t ever recall a mayor of a city telling the President that he isn’t welcome to speak there!

if tRUmp insists on holding the rally, then it is additional proof of any consideration of anything but himself (I know big surprise)

The mayor should request National Guard protection for city assets and to assist city police with crowd control, might send a message about the level of disruption an event like this would generate, and think about it in context, a visit from a “president” so toxic in character that a state has to call up the guard just to keep the peace

He suggested that Trump might have scheduled the rally to “announce a pardon for former Sheriff Joe Arpaio,” who was convicted in July of criminal contempt of court.

“Then it will be clear that his true intent is to enflame emotions and further divide our nation,” Stanton said.

You got that right. Pardoning Arpaio is going to send a pretty clear message. And he´s going to do it.

Yes…but she didn’t tell him not to come. In fact, she wanted him to come so she could speak with him.

Nor can you probably recall a U.S. president being described as “un-American”, let alone as often as you’ve heard it this week.

Speak at him is probably more accurate.

An American President is so disrespected that a Mayor of a major city asks him to refrain from visiting! Amazing! Trump is impotent.

Delay? After all, it is a dry heat out there.

Cant blame him…why should his City be faced with the burden of over extended resources…cops, fire and clean up AND the prospect of property damage just so some white supremacists can entice violence in the name of the 1st amendment …

I’d like to see her try that on Michelle right now, because I think our former First Lady has reached the end of her tether on shit like this, and rightly so.
I think she would say to Arizona Sea-Hag Jan Brewer, “Point that bony finger in my face one more time, bitch, and you’ll be digging it out of your ass.”
I know that Michelle Obama is too noble and respectful to say something like that, but she sure as hell has earned the right to do so, as has her husband!

I’ve been a voter for almost 30 years, and never in my wildest dreams would I have thought the country would elect as its president a Nazi-supporting conman in bed with Russians who was a national security threat.

I’m not smiling. Really I’m not…

If you can abbreviate Charlottesville as C’ville can I abbreviate Phoenix as P’nix?
