The downtown Convention Center that was completed in 2013 is pretty awesome. Lotta good hotels and restaurants close by too. It’s right in Chris Christie’s backyard too…

More likely the host facility will be Wells Fargo Center (on the site of the old JFK Stadium where FDR gave one of his biggest speeches). Best public transport and parking lot setup of the finalists. But the setting’s nothing like Nationwide Arena in Columbus where you have the Short North entertainment district outside the arena’s front door.
Never been to Columbus so I defer to your local knowledge.

Sorry, nobody beats NYC for public transport; but I gotta give you parking. And while my emotional side was rooting for my Brooklyn, my logical side is breathing a sigh of relief. (Oh, and can I assume it wasn’t yet called JFK Stadium when FDR gave that speech? ;))
