I just wish this article contained some basic information: who asked the question(s) that gave Strzok the chance to respond; reactions to this explanation; etc.
The communications from FBI agents desperate to stop candidate Clinton will be up for a public hearing soon?
The republicans are acting like one man’s opinion of Trump’s behavior after Trump attacked the Khans (in a private text) led to Trump losing the election.
Oh, wait.
The little I saw showed that they were only humiliating themselves. They did the same thing in the Benghazi hearings.

This entire flapdoodle reminds me of the Benghazi hearings, remember those?
The GOP was practically quivering in their seats when it started, they were so anxious to beat on Hillary Clinton.
And then the ass-kicking started. Eleven hours of it. It was almost delicious to watch.
It took the GOP Cocksuckers 11 hours to realize, “THIS. WOMAN. IS. KILLING. US.”
Not only that, she wasn’t even working up a sweat doing it. It was THAT easy. By the end of the hearing, you had the likes of Roskam not even asking questions but just snarling in helpless fury at a composed Clinton. That quivering with anxiousness to get at her? Replaced by a sense of dread that their turn would come. Remember Roby? Clinton fucking LAUGHED at her.
This was almost the same way. Goodlatte threatened Strozak on the first question. Strozak calmly batted it right back in his face. Gowdy must have had a sense of deja vu unparalled in modern history as Strozak munched him up like the last crumbs in a bag of potato chips. Jordan looked like an old man telling him to get off his lawn and by the time the classless Gomer Pyle got his turn, he was foaming at the mouth so much that from the nose down he looked like a freshly-poured beer.
Jesus and fuck. This clustershitstorm could have been prevented. I am SO pissed.
And we, taxpayers, are paying those loons… FOR THAT? Jesus…
If they had, then this article would have been 10 times as long (at least). Half the republican questioners were so incoherent that print couldn’t possibly capture them at all. The videos are all over the net. Help yourself.

It was simply political theater employed to sanctify and fortify the rabid Alex Joneses among the Republican base.
Because, for them, the truth is what they believe to be true. Facts don’t matter at all to them.

Yeah really this was nothing about context and they know it. It was all an insurance policy to try and defame the FBI so what they expose about Donald’s collusion isn’t taken as real and used to bring down the Republicans like they need to be.
Strzok explained more than that. Agent
Strzok could have stopped Trump in his tracks with intel he had, but
ethically did not. What Agent Strzok proved; because of the
multilayering of all, especially large investigations, there is no
ability for one person to shape, guide, or affect the factual outcome of
any investigation. That anyone trying to do so would be immediately
reported out by fellow investigators. And although the FBI is a majority
Republican, investigators on all levels and sides are surrounded by
Agents of the opposite or no political affiliation, so in addition to
extremely high FBI ethics there is an additional safe guard against any
political interference. But the biggest tell, Agent Strzok was in
possession of the Trump candidacy prior election stopping information
that Trump, his campaign, campaign hierarchy, and Trump helping Russian
interference were under Federal investigation and leaked that damning
information out to stop Trump, but he ethically DID NOT. Unlike what
Comy did to Hillary. But grandstanding Republican’s did prove again what
childish links of self-embarrassing petty, venial, shallow, and silly
ignorance they would go to distract from the Mueller Investigation and
feed the hapless Trump ignorant lemmings.
After seeing decent people blind-sided by #GOPDirtyTricks for decades it’s nice to see that people are Waking TF Up and not getting blind-sided by what IMHO should always be assumed to plan to do. And punching back.
So that’s a #SilverLining to Rs finally showing their true colors.
