This is quite an accomplishment for Carson. When you’ve lost Pete King, you know you’ve really hit a new level of offensive and entered cuckoo land.

We all know that an atheist will never be elected. People who don’t believe in fairy tales or invisible leaders. I am so sick of hearing about religion from people who profess to be Christians but have no empathy for anyone who is poor, down on his luck, etc.

If one is, it will be after the country suffers through a few administrations run by people like Huckabee or Carson or Cruz or Fiorina or Santorum or…

As things stand:

  1. Establishment Mepublicans are getting nervous that tRump could run away with this thing
  2. All three current leaders are not establishment Mepublicans (Lie-o-rina is tolerated because she has a specific function that is needed - Hillary bashing without carrying the anti-woman title)
  3. No one knows how to unseat tRump so they had better start working on Carson
  4. Look for it to get nastier and more personal as this mess the GOP created morphs into an even larger beast than they ever thought it would be

12 teabaggers just filed paperwork to primary Peter King.

It’s too bad that King didn’t think of the ‘broad brush’ comment when he was an IRA bagman.

Well, it should be said. Good for Pete King. Hope I’ll have an opportunity to say that a second time in my lifetime.
