Discussion for article #234163
In a video statement earlier this month, the former governor said that the administration âhas caved on one demand after anotherâ throughout the negotiations with Iran.
Itâs almost like the has-been with the drawl had a clue about what was being negotiated. Like all great Republican Presidential hopefuls, he has to burnish his cred about how much he hates the US Government.
âWe must not allow the incompetence of one administration to damage our countryâs security for years and decades to come.â
And yet heâs still trying to run for office.
More proof that the GOP is unhinged and criminally stupid.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal ÂŽ joined the 47 Senate Republicans who signed the letter meant to undermine the United Statesâ nuclear deal with Iran, and he urged all 2016
presidential hopefuls to do the same.
I would encourage Attorney General Eric Holder to prosecute each and every one of these people for treason. We can set up a room with two tables - one for signing up, and one for receiving your handcuffs.
Please proceed, Governor. Better yet, why donât you send your own letter? I double dog dare you.
Stupid is as stupid does!
Whoâs going to write it for him?
Nobody asked you to, Rick.
I guess this is this election cycleâs litmus test- are you stupid enough to say that youâd sign on to this letter while everyone that signed on is still getting schooled by the White House, the media and the fricking Iranians.
Candidates can say anything if theyâre never going to win. Worst case scenario for them, theyâre moving more books or selling more email addresses.
Make them pink handcuffs and pink jumpsuits in honor of Sheriff Arapaio.
Rick Perry, like most of his Republican colleagues and supporters, has forgotten the meaning of âhonor.â That is, if they ever knew it. The damage to which they are subjecting our country and the world is unpardonable and certainly not honorable.
I expected nothing else.
TEX-ceptionalism!
In other words, âIâm as big a traitorous, meddling, warmongering dick as all of you forty seven Senate sonsofbitches put together!â
Not to mention, stupid enough!
Of course he wouldâŚ
Good to know. Add him to the âvery very stupid politiciansâ list â oh, sorry, he is already on it!
What is this document?
Mullah, itâs an addendum to the message received earlier from those 47 American war party politicians.
What do they want now?
Mullah, this new one does not appear to add any substance to the earlier message.
Please explain, if you are able, itâs meaning.
Our experts confess to bafflement, Mullah. You will recall the earlier message was signed by 47 men and women calling themselves âsenatorsâ. Our diplomats and American political experts informed us they belong to the popularly elected body that is empowered under their constitution to authorize treaty negotiations, and that the gang of 47 sought to somehow impress us with their scholarship, while expressing frustration at being unable to withdraw the authority their body earlier voted to President Hussein to negotiate with you. I recall the most common judgment of it was as a âstuntâ, and at that both technically wrong and crudely laughable
Yes, yes, I remember all that. Are these more of them?
No, Mullah, they appear to be politicians who administer some of the American regions they call âstatesâ.
What business is this of theirs?
Mullah, that unfortunately appears obscure. One of them is an ethnic Indian who actively denies his ethnicity in favor of lighter-skinned Americans descended mostly from emigrees of Ireland and Germany, and another is an ethnic English descendant widely known for his champion skills at puffing up his chest and yelling and otherwise for what appears to be a learning disability.
So, they have nothing all to do with the gang of 47?
They are all members of the same religio-political sect, Mullah, and generally share the same spectrum of bizarre beliefs.
Can you explain why they seek to bother me with this?
Mullah, our experts tell us their crypto-Christian political ideololgy may require them to make public declarations in support of the fecklessness of their fellow party members.
I understand; then direct our diplomats to convey the same message but with a greater emphasis on mockery.
Yes, Mullah.
And for the benefit of the stupid one, make this response louder.
Good idea, Mullah.
Presumably someone would show perry where to place his mark on the letter.
