Discussion: Perry: 'Everybody In Life's Had Money Problems From Time To Time'

Discussion for article #239551

Most people have had money problems. It’s rarer that the problems spring from being a quixotic and generally lousy candidate for President. That’s not quite as “relatable.” Nice try though.

“Even as the governor of Texas in 2003, we had $10 billion short fall.”

Yeah, but the Federal government isn’t going to bail out your personal campaign.

Have you started the paperwork on moving all those staffers over to the super PAC yet? Just ignore those rules limiting coordination between PACs and campaigns. Hell, all your competitors are screaming about ignoring actual Constitutional amendments. You can’t get all wishy washy about ignoring a few FEC regulations. Man up, big guy.

How can we trust a nation’s budget to some buster who can’t manage the finances of his own campaign?

12th largest economy in the world?

How’s that for framing a talking point. Jeez.

Surely somebody with glasses like Perry can manage a campaign’s finances, no?

Bet neither Romney or Trump have ever had money problems except what to do with so much of it.

‘Everybody In Life’s Had Money Problems From Time To Time’…particularly people who rely on a dumb shit like you for a paycheck.

Rich White Texans live in a remarkable bubble. They believe all sorts of contradictory things that keep them feeing powerful, independent, and righteous. The talk amongst themselves and sound perfectly fine to each other.

Buy when they step out of Texas and talk to anyone else, they sound like fucking idiots.

I bet none of his donors have had money problems, nor the people the GOP can’t wait to give more tax cuts to.

What??? No CornDog photos?

Can you believe the overpaid (millionaire) consultants at Rick “The Andy Dwyer of Politics” Perry’s Super-Pac - with $17 Million! - aren’t covering these college students’ minimum wage pay?

It’s morally despicable.

I wonder how much mac & cheese, ramin noodles, and saltine crackers Mr. Perry has eaten in his life. Hearing these wealthy people complain about money is, well, rich.

All the money problems I’ve had in my life have been directly attributable to GOP policies. So yes, Guv Goodhair, I can relate.

“Everybody in life’s had some money problems from time to time… you got to make cuts and reduce and have a little smaller footprint."

I don’t think this means what he thinks it means… well, obviously, but I love rich asshats telling others how if they “just” then everyone could be a millionaire!

Why is Rick Perry apologizing for Tia Oso?

Or you GO MAKE MORE MONEY!

But there are those special people that will waste it away thinking there going to President.
I am not one of them. But your side has 15 or so.
Did you break your little pink pig yet?

Citizens United said that money is speech.

Is the tautology then that the money is not speaking to or for Perry?
