Note the media narrative here: that Democrats are divided, that the party teeters on the brink of division, etc. Total garbage. The party remains very solid. I also find it strange that the piece doesn’t mention that so much of the party infighting in 2016 was amplified and fomented by Russia on social media using hapless Sanders and Stein supporters. That’s not going to happen so easily this time round.
That doesn’t fit the eternal narrative of Democratic Party in Disarray!
The DNC is rehabilitating from years of neglect and infighting and lags its Republican counterpart in fundraising and data capabilities — key elements a national party organization provides its nominees.
Gee, and who was the Democratic Party leader during those years of neglect?
Actually Perez will do his job easily and with no self doubt.
It’s called the Dunning-Kruger Effect, and it means that incompetent people do not know that they are incompetent.
He will make it a complete dogs breakfast of it, but he will remain convinced that he his the stalwart genius who made everything work.
He had nothing else to do.
He was not entitled to delegate and trust those to whom he delegated.
He really fucked up the Mid Terms and the Alabama Senate Special election.
He fired Howard Dean.
He hired Tim Kaine.
He hired Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.
All horrible decisions. The buck stops with him.
True. I liked and still like Howard Dean. Can’t fathom why he is not involved in the DNC given his track record winning seats.
