I, for one, hope WaPo sues his skin off.

Democrats for so long have offered nothing, left so many of us in the dust,” he said. “They need to change and take over and people need to apply lots and lots and lots of pressure.”

Interesting website. It looks like fake newspapers have been one of their organizing tactics in the past. They did this with a small scale organizing effort in Amsterdam to wrest community control of a building taken over by squatters as an arts center from a landlord who had let it languish for many years.

That’s not how impeachment works…dude.

The repubs hold the Senate Majority. They will NOT oust trump. AFTER the Mueller report is published (or leaked, whatever it takes), we could get defectors to our side. That’s when we should strike with articles of impeachment in the House.

For now, I don;t see how tearing down the democratic party is a positive thing.

Just sayin’

Maybe we can look back on it as “prophetic news”.

As long as Republicans control the Senate, any chance of Trump’s removal from office through impeachment is remote, no matter how much pressure activists apply.

Let’s be clear about this. As long as Republicans control the Senate, any chance of Trump’s removal from office through impeachment is zero, no matter how blatantly corrupt and illegal his actions. There is nothing, repeat nothing, that will cause the GOP to make a move against Trump. He could literally be murdering people on live TV and they would merely chant “Fake News” in unison.

The Yes Men looked ahead on Page A6.

Note [corrected]: The fake WaPo was dated “May Day, Wednesday, May 1, 2019.”

“People need to believe in something”

I believe in hard labor with bowls of steam for every meal for folks like Bichlbaum.

I love the Yes Men, this prank included.

And sorry, WaPo. Explore all the legal action you want. You got nothin’. Parody is protected speech. Just ask the greatest ever defender of the First Amendment Larry Flynt.

Belief is easy, acceptance is hard and wisely knowing what to reject is the hardest of all.
