Discussion: People Mag: Trump's Attacks On Our Reporter Are 'Disgusting' And 'Pathetic'

What really amuses me is that HO truly believed himself to be so good at manipulating the media, he thought that alone would get him elected … he anticipated millions of dollars worth of free air time … no need to even spend money on advertising. Well, he’s getting his free air time now; not exactly coupled with the results he expected! Hahahaha!

Thanks to you and everyone on the front lines of GOTV.

I’m transitioning from VR to GOTV on Monday plus working with the Voter Protection group and serving as an election day judge on Nov. 8th. Not that we think it’s important.

Which beach and where inland?

A solid strong statement by People Magazine. I hope other organizations take note and stand behind their employees as strongly when their employees are criminally attacked and then maligned all over again for speaking out. .

Trump reminds me of the straight guys that are “disgusted” by gay men “ogling” them – but are really pissed when it turns out that we wouldn’t touch them with someone else’s dick.

Ah, but if she were?
In the bizarre world of Donald Trump he thinks that he can deny an accusation of sexual assault by saying, “I would not assault someone who looks like that.”

In other words if he found her to be attractive sexual assault would be OK.

Many people are saying that this type of logic is common among those who are addicted to cocaine. I do not know if he is addicted to cocaine but many say he is. I am just saying.

This cover trumps (sorry) all the rest. It will upset him when he’s eating his taco bowl and gazing down at it.

In all fairness to Trump, it’s not like he’s committed infanticide, cannibalism, or congress with goats.

That we know of…

There will be an angry backlash from his supporters, and they’ll be shouting “unfair to white men” just as they shouted “unfair to white men” about Obama. They’ll also continue their shouts of unprintable sexist invective and calls to lock her up. Demented congress critters will be competing with each other to try to be the first one to call for her impeachment on Monday, January 23, 2017, first business day after her inauguration.

Nora Ephron once said she particularly enjoyed People magazine because she could read it before takeoff. It’s a time killer on supermarket lines as well.

He indicts himself with his own words.

When you say, of a woman, “She’s not pretty enough for me to have raped,” then logic tells us that you are saying, “I am a rapist of women I find attractive.”

A very revealing comment by Donald Trump.

Interesting you should mention Trump and underage goats, because I’m hearing a lot of disgusting information from people about Trump and underage goats that would make your head spin. I mean your head would spin, if you know what I mean. A lot of people. Disgusting.

I have to say that I only read People in waiting rooms, but I really like organizations that stand behind their employees like this.

Bravo, People people.

So, that’s on the impulse-buy stands at every supermarket checkout – right next to the insane tabloids that Donald Trump uses to form his intellectual opinions.
I’ll happily give credit to People for standing up on behalf of their wronged reporter and refrain from comments about blind pigs, acorns, etc. Good on them.
Listening to talk radio today (so you don’t have to), the concerted backlash from them to these accusations is “Why are they coming forward now? If there’s any truth to it, why didn’t they step forward at the time?” Well, we have the example of the wide-spread child abuse in the Catholic Church, just for one of many, as to why the abused often don’t step forward until someone else does. Shame and the balance of power is the gist of it in every instance. Right wing alt-media uses this as “proof” of a conspiracy against their flawed candidate, and fact is they’re half-right – a lot of people who have dirt on him don’t think he’s fit for the Presidency. Finally, to paraphrase Lowell George, “The same people you abuse on your way up, you’re going to meet, on the way back down.”
