A long time ago, in an alternate universe far away, an event like this would be a dominant story line. Today - people spend more media cycles taking a con man’s ideas and proposals seriously instead of calling it out for what it is: distractions intended to change news cycles and avoid accountability for his crimes.
I wonder if Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell, and Rumsfeld will even attend these seven funerals.
And Hadley, Wolfowitz, and Fief.

[/quote]And there might be calls for an investigation of this…rather than calls for an investigation of DOJ and the FBI for doing their jobs investigating Russian interference in our election (which itself didn’t happen a long time ago in a universe far away).
They skipped the previous 4400 funerals, why start now?
Not to mention roughly 600,000 funerals of innocent people in Iraq.
