Pence can’t be expected to read every little piece of paper that crosses his desk. I mean, after all, would you really expect the head of the presidential transition team be expected to know about something as insignificant as a letter from the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee asking about the illegal lobbying efforts on behalf of another country by the soon-to-be National Security Adviser? Please - we’ve got a parade to plan!

Brad Jaffy pointed this out - in his interview with Bret Baier when Flynn resigned Baier mentioned that Flynn registered as a foreign agent, Pence volunteers “first I heard about this” twice, I noticed that he looked down and away both times in classic “I’m lying” fashion. Sarah Kendzior, as usual, called it - America has trouble dealing with a calm liar which is exactly what Pence is.

An important question will be: Why? Knowing Flynn was already in trouble for taking hidden bribes from Turkey, why did Trump/Pence move ahead with his appointment as national security adviser?
Obviously there would be a reason, a strong reason. And it probably ties back to Russia.
