Trump: Obama purposely avoided telling us that Flynn was a spy. He wanted us to fail and we are now paying the price for Obama’s deviousness.

The story on the top of the page earlier at TPM says that Elijah Cummings wrote directly to Pence on November 18, 2016 expressing concerns that Flynn was working for Turkey. Pence is a liar.
"Trump named Flynn his national security adviser on Nov. 17, and Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), the ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, wrote a letter to then-Vice President-elect Mike Pence the next day expressing concern that he “was hired by a foreign company to lobby for Turkish interests.”

Pence “stands by his comments in March upon first hearing the news regarding General Flynn’s ties to Turkey and fully supports the president’s decision to ask for General Flynn’s resignation,” his office said in a statement to USA Today.
Coward. Get your ass out in public and make that statement face-to-face to the American people.
Pence can’t back down from this, since he’s on the record and needs to stay clean. He has to reach the point where the weight of the evidence forces his memory to come back to him.
And he’ll confess his sins to Jesus, who will grant him absolution, and then onward to the Next Big Lie with a clear conscience. So we’re cool right? Effing sociopath…
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let Pence be proven to be lying. I will die a happy woman (not planning on kicking the bucket soon anyone) if he goes down.

Side note: At this time the “boyscout” Pence, while heading the transition, was also waging a fight back home in Indiana to attempt to shield his emails from ever seeing the light of day.

Since he was in charge of vetting, the next question is why didn’t you know?

Pence is a bold faced christian liar. This does not even pass the laugh test.
Vice President Mike Pence is not backing down from his claim that he learned nothing about ousted national security adviser Michael Flynn’s lobbying work for the Turkish government until March.
Pence IS flat out lying. It was public knowledge in November and Cummings notified Pence directly, and that’s just the public disclosures we know about, Pence was likely told on other occasions as well about Flynn’s lobbying work.
Somebody needs to flat out ask Pence why he lied, because there’s ample proof he did.
This means that:
- he’s either too stupid to be POTUS OR
- he’s too much of a liar to be POTUS.
Either way, he’s going down with Rump.
Incompetent or lying. Neither is flattering for a likely President. That prospect is horrifying.
