ā€¦and Trump did it His Way anyway.

So for at least six months they knew there was a problem, and yet at some point after Jackson held that press conference that went far to quell the talk about Trump undergoing some sort of cognitive decline, the administration still wanted, you might say felt obligated, to give him this huge job.

Huh.

'Cause he has the best brain, picks the best people, and is the bestest at everything! And yetā€¦ no winning. Go figure.

A)-Trump receives counsel from aides about such matters, ignores them and the facts they present, and does whatever he wants, the all but certain negative consequences be damned.
B)-Trump is so nasty and impervious to facts and reason his aides hide all but ā€œThere are incoming ICBMs from Russia, quick, do something!!ā€ types of warnings.

Itā€™s one of the two, or from issue to issue either or both. Regardless, someone with the means and motivation is certainly planning Trumpā€™s ā€œheart attackā€ for him now.

American hero with the best genes for being a lousy doctor and the best santorum-licking brown noser.

Trump is always looking for situations that he can use as diversions from his own problems. Jackson is just another shiny object used to distractā€¦

Like a mob boss. You look for the crooked ones, the ones ā€œyou can do business with.ā€

Republicans have been the party of hostile work environments for decades, now. Itā€™s hard to understand why this latest little bit of truth in advertising was seen a bridge too far.

Maybe, but Iā€™m hard pressed to remember a cabinet job being awarded to a woefully unqualified and unprepared nominee based solely or primarily off of some steller presser that wowed everyone into thinking he/she was a genius and a lock for the next opening in the administration.

and yet the Secret Service stands by the position that there categorically are no reports of questionable behavior? no issues with Jacksonā€™s activities?

yeahā€¦ and John Gotti was just a basic run-of-the-mill salesman for Arc Plumbing - actually ā€˜one of the bestā€™ ā€¦

Was his behavior as egregious under Obama or was it worse once Trump took office?

I think tRump knew all about Jackson but decided to keep him on because Jackson may have been helping him out. One of the drugs Jackson was handing out to basically anyone who wanted them is called Modafinil (ProvigilĀ®) to help journalist wakeup on flights with tRump. Modafinil (ProvigilĀ®) is being studied as a drug for Dementia. Even though the results of the drug are mixed for cognitive issues-it is a way for tRumpt to be slipped the drug without going public. Also if tRump knew of Jackson issues he could easily have blackmail him into silence about it. Blackmailed could also be the reason Jackson obviously lied about tRumpā€™s perfect health.

Yaā€™ll are missing the underlying Very Important Point here: Donā€™t mess with Mother Pence. While pearls are being clutched, and fainting couches dusted off at the prospect of tRumpā€™s ā€œremovalā€ and Penceā€™s accession to the presidency*, weā€™re losing sight of the possibility of a petticoat government by an elementary school teacher, because itā€™s obvious sheā€™s a smarter and more skillful, manipulator than Mikey.
