There is NO war on women.

Please make a note of it.

How can there be when Republicans won’t engage in war with a women without their wife present?

Please, NEVER forget that Pence refers to his wife as “Mother.”

There is never ever any real policy from the GOP, anymore; just a dangerous combination of spite, magical thinking and demagoguery.

One of the moves here in Missouri is have all organizations that receive monies from family planning grants sign a letter to the state that they will not provide abortions. Several hospitals in the area are foregoing the family planning money because they will not sign the letter.

I can’t decide if calling his wife “Mother” is Twilight Zone creepy or V. C. Andrew’s “Flowers In the Attic” creepy?

OT. It’s all coming apart at the seams.

WH leaks to Nunes, who has presser, then tells WH who claims vindication, who then attacks the press.

The fact that Pence wants to control women’s bodies and won’t have a business lunch with a woman but then screams about creeping Sharia law should surprise no one. It’s nothing but projection with these phony Christians, which is why Mrs. Pence (coughBEARDcough) should fear the business dinners her homophobic husband has with men…

Here’s an argument I’ve been dying to make, turning the tables.

As I understand it, the GOP argument is that money is fungible and paying Planned Parenthood to perform non-abortion services as billed also somehow pays for abortions, and federal money shouldn’t go to abortion because some people are opposed to their money going towards abortion.

But my counterargument is that if money is fungible when received, then none of the tax revenue received from people opposed to abortion actually would ever go to pay for abortions. Their “fungible” money goes somewhere else, and my “fungible” money doesn’t go to pay for useless missile systems or corporate handouts I oppose.

Suppose a federal employee uses some of their salary to pay for an abortion. Exactly what is the difference? The “fungible” argument cuts both ways and creates absurd results. I’ll be stunned if it holds up in court.

Miserable, stinking Republicans!

“Democrats and moderate Republicans”, of which there are apparently only two, Murkowski and Collins. And the idea that Murkowski is, in any context, moderate, tells you how far reich the Overton window has moved.

This asshole is like the grim reaper. Whenever the senate dems manage to hold up some anti-human GOP plot, he descends from the white house and kills their block.

Texas Lege has pioneered the anti-PP writ-twit blizzard of inane laws. We are now leading the nation in maternal mortality. https://amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/aug/20/texas-maternal-mortality-rate-health-clinics-funding
