“it could undermine public confidence in the government’s ability to protect Americans.”
Feature, not a bug. Trump wants an attack that he can use to help him on his way to autocrat so badly he can taste it.
“Chuck Schumer said it was ‘past time’ for U.S. intelligence officials to stage an intervention with Trump.”
They keep trying, but he’s sleeping on the couch over at Vlad’s place, and neither will answer the doorbell.
Thank you, Madame Speaker!
“I have the very best attention span! Tremendous attention span! Just tremendous!”
Stop looking for heroes. BE one.
You know, I can just hear her whispery little voice cooing that out while she jams that switchblade in between his ribs.
I shudder to think what would have happened if those who wanted her out had prevailed.
If Whiny would look down, instead of wonderng why people were laughing, he
would see that Nancy had pantsed him.
GD, girl! That’s quite explicit! I was not expecting that kind of picture in my mind at all, but, OK. I won’t object.
More and more, it seems that the pathway which House leadership sees as the most viable for removal is not an argument based upon criminality, but incapacity. I think this is an interesting choice, and probably a smart one. It looks forward, rather than back, and can be sold to reluctant voters as being more protective than punitive.
I’m all for punitive, personally, but the deliverable is getting the dotard out of the oval office. If that means giving Republicans a less-bitter pill to swallow, well… if it works, then it works.
Always a pleasure to hear from the real leader of the country.
Putin’s offering $300 million, while the IC countered with a thorough investigation leading to a lifetime in Club Fed.
trump has “…the attention span of a ferret on crystal meth.”

You will never find “…a more wretched hive of scum and villainy…” than in this administration.
-Star Wars
so many times it is as if the words or “policy” comes straight from Vlad’s mouth
putin’s puppet may be a misnomer, perhaps Vlad’s ventriloquist DUMMY would be more accurate, complete with hand up ass and all
Pelosi rocks!
Nancy’s got good aim …
+1. This is what divided government is all about. Trump says something crazy, and before the press just went with what he said. Now? Pelosi has a soap box. Still not enough coverage of her, but she is breaking through.
Attention span is definitely part of it, but I’m guessing intelligence, or lack thereof, may be the biggest factor.
said it could undermine public confidence in the government’s ability to protect Americans.
That the president is a blithering idiot should undermine public confidence in the government’s ability to protect Americans.
“He also doesn’t have the guts to declare a national emergency. Bring it!”
If it weren’t true, Madame Speaker would just be trolling.
