The GOP impeached Clinton for lying under oath about a sexual act so there is clear precedent regarding the proper course of action against a Democrat but this case is easily distinguished, the perpetrator is a Republican.

To which Kavanaugh replies, “I’ll drink to that!”
He’s not fit to serve on the Supreme Court whether he’s a serial sexual offender or not. He’s a partisan operative and hack, lacking in the intellectual maturity necessary for a judge, and he’s belligerent to boot. Not to mention a liar who drinks too much. He fits the AA profile to a T. Alcoholism isn’t the disease. It’s a symptom.
Based on his mood swings alone but also on the broken capillaries in his face which are a sign of heavy drinking, we’re right to think he’s got a drinking problem. Well, no problem to him, but a problem to everyone around him.
We can only speculate which WH staffer made up that bullshit and said, Here, Brett, say this, it’ll make trumpp look smart.
“If” Kaveman-augh is lying? I think there’s little “if” left, in my view.
Under oath he testified that he didn’t drink heavily (although at the hearing he did say “sometimes drank too many beers” but apparently no-one on the committee noticed?), didn’t attend the kind of parties described by Dr. Ford and that they weren’t in the same social circles.
Lie #1:
One of his calendar entries includes go to “Timmy’s for skis”… with Judge and others including “Squi”…
What does “skis” refer to? Since this is July/August, peak Summer on the eastern seaboard, it isn’t about snow sports. Most understand it to be short for “brewskis”… So, in other words, a drinking party…
Lie #2:
The very next day, he heads to the beach with the same person, “Squi”, for the weekend. Around this same time period, Squi was dating Ms. Blasey. For a number of months.
So, a person he is close enough with to spend three or more consecutive days with (as noted in his own calendar), road trip with, drink with, but he has no clue that the woman accusing him of sexual assault/attempted rape DATED that same friend for MONTHS? Which, considering the frequency of get-togethers in that one month alone, implies that she would have certainly been quite well known of, if not present at some of those events?
Lie #3:
In the yearbook, Judge refers to Kaveman-augh as “Bart” (who is the confessed Ralph King of their drinking fun). Judge later writes a book, with a character named “Bart O’Kavanaugh” fitting the descriptions and actions of our esteemed nominee quite closely.
Yet, Mr. K denied fairly vehemently that the character was based in any way on him… Who the hell else would it be?
I could go on, but just these on their own could (or certainly should) be enough impeachable dishonesty for one “under oath” testimony, never mind TWO…
Considering how he likes to insert himself into everything, I could easily imagine Trump himself writing that… or at least ordering it added to the speech. Much as he did for Don Jr.'s false statement post-Trump Tower meeting.
Do you remember that squirm-worthy episode of Pence siting across a narrow table from a glaring, arms-crossed Trump, slathering on the praise, almost as if he was being punished for something?
I’ll never forget it. That moment defined a whole new kind of reality for me… and highlighted the very real danger he (and Pence) represents for our Republic.
If Kavanaugh’s lying is filleted open and laid out for all to see … Lindsey Graham should humble himself and grovel for forgiveness for his shrill pathetic zero-integrity tantrum … and he should be made to stand in a corner facing the wall until he apologizes to Dr. Ford

I agree completely with threatening impeachment and a congressional investigation that will damning to BK. Unlike Benghazi there are all kinds of threads to pull on… This prick has earned it from the time he was Starr’s hatchet man, even if Clinton was a pig with women…
