Discussion: Pelosi Describes Trump's 'Temper Tantrum' As He Pounded The Table

If not just Trump but a big chunk of the GOP go down for conspiracy … well, it would be a whole new day!

100% on this. Criminals are different than other people.

I like that there are 24 candidates “running”. It lets some say yes, some say no, some say maybe and some say nothing at all. Democratic messages in general reach a wider spectrum of voters and the pre-election swift boat value of any one target is diminished to the disadvantage of the revanchist party and its media allies.

She should be saying, “Well bless his heart.”

Yeah they are. They do convince themselves that they won’t get caught. Otherwise they wouldn’t commit a crime.

SPOILER ALERT: It’s necessary. It’s been necessary for months now. Stop playing political games and be straight with the American people about how deranged he actually is.

Prayer can be good for reassurance and calm in an uncaring universe. Expecting anything else is delusion.

Don’t have to get under his skin for that. It’s all on the outside.

So is “May you be forever young.”

Kudos to Pelosi and the gang for bringing out the coverup charge. Brilliant tactics.

Even if the Mueller Book Club could double the 3% of the populace who’ve read the Report, most people won’t parse the degrees of nuance of the multitude of instances of coordination with Russia and Russia-associated actors, of obstruction and subornation of perjury, and lying to Mueller’s team.

But, coverup, anybody can understand, even Fox viewers, should the word ever get uttered there, and more people will be aware of the potentially lethal implications for Trump’s presidency as the Watergate parallels get talked about in the media.

Hence Trump’s going ballistic at Pelosi throwing out the term - he might say “even ‘my’ people can understand ‘coverup’”, echoing Tammany’s Boss Tweed’s line, “My constituents can’t read. But they can’t help seeing them damned pictures”!

But that’s how the right wing blocked the presidency of Hillary Clinton. Twenty-five years of small cuts destroyed her credibility with enough people to sway the election toward Trump. Other factors, including her own mistakes, finished the job.

We don’t have twenty five years, but Pelosi is taking some short cuts… She’s got a weed eater and she knows how to use it.

You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.

Pelosi added, “I wish that his family or his staff or his administration would have an intervention, for the good of the country.”
They have no incentive to intervene since his family is part of the grift.
When this maelstrom somehow ends or if there is an impeachment inquiry there will need to be one of those CSI like charts outlining all of their nefarious connections.

It’s a compilation of stories in which vengeance is often portrayed as a good thing, unless directed at oneself for having wandered outside the lane, which in many respects is rather arbitrarily drawn.

He had to, because it was Act One.

Act One (Indoors): Dotard enters meeting he called.
Act Two (Indoors): Dotard throws temper tantrum about something that happened earlier.
Act Three (On the patio): Dotard approaches existing podium with ridiculous sign and speaks to those he assembled, saying that mean woman dissed him sometime so he’s calling war games.
Curtain.

“Never go in against a Sicilian when death impeachment is on the line!” (Note: I have no idea as to Speaker Pelosi’s actual Italian ancestry, I just love this quote.) And I agree with all of those who say that we have to move very slowly and carefully on this. I guarantee that hearings will begin when the time is right; Madame Speaker has always made it clear that impeachment is a possibility, just not right now. I’d love to have hearings going on right before the election in 2020.
