Discussion: Pelosi Describes Trump's 'Temper Tantrum' As He Pounded The Table

I do get the joke… but if you read said amendment, it doesn’t help us here.

In fact, it really doesn’t help in any situation where the POTUS is awake and able to say “I’m fine, I can do presidentin’.”

Plus, of course, if it did “work”, we would have President Pence.

Only until they’re teenagers, at which point it becomes “You hate me! You hate me!”

I seem to recall something happening shortly before that election … something about the stock market, the economy… but it was so long ago… it may have had a wee influence on said election, however.

There’s another example, of course, from those with somewhat longer memories. An actual impeachment of a President occurred waaaaaay back in the last millennium. 1998, I believe. Two years later, the party that impeached him took the White House and retained control of the House. The Senate switched to Democratic control… for two years.

…perfect bad storm for many repub senators who must run in 2020. NRA money is all gone by then, because it ceases as a 501©3 (NYAG) and the Russian aluminum factory in McConnell’s backyard sinks em all…thank you Madame awesome Speaker.

You seem to know very little about Pence. Or do you believe that he dies not seek to advance the End Time?

She’s telling the world that he is nuts and that everybody knows it.

As long as the Republicans value the apparatus that is this administration more than they fear the damage Trump can do, impeachment is not a viable option for restraining Trump and is more likely to set him off. It could serve to educate the public.

They’re so different that a relative badness ranking might be a challenge. One’s seriously misguided, the other actively malevolent.
