Pelosi described the remark as an “assault on our democracy”
Assault #8,934,793,456.
This surprises exactly no one.
Bills passed in the House, but will never see the light of day in the Senate.
Keep at him, Nervous Nancy. He’s gotta blow soon.
he does not know the difference between right and wrong
That will be the first leg of his “incompetent to stand trial” defense.
Wow! Biting! Keep it up Pelosi. He may self-impeach any day now with rhetoric like that.
“What the President said last night shows clearly once again, over and over again that he does not know the difference between right and wrong. And that’s probably the nicest thing I can say about him,” she said. “If he doesn’t know the difference, it could explain some of this ridiculous behavior.”
“Everybody in the country should be totally appalled by what the President said last night. Should be totally appalled. But he has a habit of making appalling statements. This one borders on so totally unethical that he doesn’t even realize it,”
#justwaitingonCecil
He knows the difference. He just doesn’t care.
In fact, the more he can get away with without an impeachment inquiry and steps to remove him from office, the more he will damage the country and try to get permanent Republican authoritative control.
No more excuses or nice talk or he doesn’t know better. He’s a corrupt president, a con-man, and a long-time criminal individual.
Trump knows the difference between right and wrong, he just defines it differently. “Right”, like “Truth”, is whatever benefits Donald Trump. “Wrong” and “Lies” are whatever he perceives as damaging to his interests. This is how narcissists operate, and entirely consistent with his actions throughout his life. None of this should be the least surprising to anyone who has been paying attention.
There is a natural tendency to compare Trump to other Presidents and expect him, like them, to base their decisions on what they think is in the best interests of the Country. We are prepared to disagree about what constitutes the best interests, but even in cases like Bush 43 where many felt the decisions were ill-advised, few felt he was primarily motivated by personal self-interest. Trump’s motivations are different. He literally does not see issues except in terms of how they affect him personally, and all of his decisions are based on that.
Is it Friday yet?
No? Just Thursday? Is Friday beginning to spread itself out over multiple days???
O/T – but the Office of Special Counsel finds Kellyanne Conway Repeatedly Violated the Hatch Act, Recommends Removal from Federal Service
https://www.thedailybeast.com/kellyanne-conway-found-to-have-violated-hatch-act – this is an old news article. I tried linking to the press release from OSC, but their server is not responding.
Pelosi is like a fire chief standing next to a burning house saying, “yep, it’s burning,” but then not doing anything to put out the fire.
And then in the next breath she’ll say, “I am against putting it out.”
missing her biggest point with this nonsense. FOLLOW THE MONEY she said over and over. including the corrupt Republican Senate. what exactly is the Press doing??
If the GOP weren’t paid political operatives of the CCP and Putin this might matter.
If they’d recommend her disbarment for ethics violations too, my cup would runneth over with Schadenfreude!
During an interview with ABC that aired Wednesday, Trump admitted that even after the Russia probe, he would still listen to dirt on a political opponent offered to him by a foreign power and probably wouldn’t call the FBI.
So, explain to me again why the Dotard and the GOP are hellbent on investigating the investigators?
I could be wrong, but I think Assault #9,999,999,999 will get things started.
Either that or they’ll just re-set the counter.
This just makes me sad now.
It is my correct to say that Nancy is a fire chief with the hose turned on the fire but the Republicans have cut off the water.
