An aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) confirmed to CNN Monday that President Donald Trump’s second State of the Union address won’t happen Tuesday.
…or any particular day ending in “y”. This is out of concern for his health, have you listened to him try to breathe 5 minutes into a public address?

We’ve crawled out from under the terrible, terrible, ugly economy that Obama made into a tremendous, fantastic economy. America is in bad peril from all the evil immigrants that come over the borders and commit crimes all the time, every day, devastating the suburbs and safe enclaves of regular Americans. These suburbs, and their beautiful daughters, are ravaged by the menacing horde and are now smoking ruins. There’s simply no point in allowing Trump a national platform to demagogue against asylum seekers and Democrats. At the very least, before Trump is allowed to give the SOTU, the government has to be open on a “permanent” basis and, in fact, I think Dems should demand some sort of legislation banning government shutdowns as well.

64 percent do not have a lot of confidence that Trump will make the right decisions for the country’s future.
Speaker Pelosi should make it clear that there will be no SOTU speech in the House chamber until and unless Trump guarantees that there will never be a government shutdown for the rest of his tenure in the White House.
