Doesn’t he mean “clarified”?

Well…if you yank the sheet off a Klansman…you do get to see the disfigured face underneath.

So, Lyin Ryin might be telling the truth.

And he is still not running for the nomination (fingers crossed).

Hmmm I thought the Elephant Man was already disfigured?

“Paul Ryan, I’m sure I’m going to get along great with him,” Trump said. “And if I don’t, he’s going to have to pay a big price. Okay?”

Paul, Saying out loud what the rest of you whisper does not mean “disfigured”. It’s more like “pulling the curtain back”

Disfigured the dog whistle, maybe…

I might have gone with “represented perfectly” or “concisely enunciated,” but when you’re a math wiz policy wonk™, you don’t always do as well on the language part of the GRE.

Nope… Definitely not running. Just polishing my foreign relations bona fides… have you seen how presidential they look? Nope, nothing to see here.

So saying what all your backers are thinking is ‘disfiguring GOP values’?

Again, Ryan is positioning himself to be the defacto leader of a chastened GOP after the catastrophe that is about to come. After the upcoming drubbing, he will be in a perfect position to stare down the Freedom Caucus a bit more, get some governing done, and run for President in 2020. This works for him even if Trump or Cruz win, but works much better if Sanders or Clinton do.

There you go.

Ryan, if the GOP had any values, I may agree with you. They don’t though, so your statement is meaningless.

Not a neocon? Just who, Paul, are you trying to kid?

Yes, the Donald should have used the traditional dog whistle terms such as “states rights”, “does not love America”, “real Americans”.

Don’t blame Trump. He’s a symptom, not a cause.

Are you assuming the GOP will survive as a national party after this election? I’m not so sure they will. I think the GOP will end up a shell of its former self.

No, but neither was W.

He went on to say the U.S. should seek to reassure its allies without “kicking over dictators and putting boots on the ground.”

Wait. The party that invaded Iraq and Afghanistan and cries about wanting to invade Syria and Iran…now doesn’t want to? Or has Paul Ryan changed his affiliation?
