Discussion: Paul Ryan Still Not Endorsing Trump After Meeting: I Won't 'Fake' Unity

Like being aware that Ryan has far more of a probability of being re-elected to Congress than Trump has to being elected as President?

That’s all you need to know. Somewhere in the lizard brains of R party leaders they know trumpf’s not going to win but can’t say it without actually saying it. .

I amended my original post that you liked…hope it did not change much. The fact is, I think that Ryan has less urgency right now to shame himself to Trump like Priebus…although it may be necessary down the road.

If Trump were not the darling of the MSM stenopgraphers, Ryan’s stalling would make a lot of sense. With regard to all Republicans running in 2016, they should be tied to Trump, no matter what.

Trump needs Ryan. Ryan doesn’t need Trump. Not a space Donald is comfortable occupying.

Cable TV, previously giddy over the prospect of a charred and smoking Cleveland this summer, is now pumped for Manafart’s sight unseen promise of a celebrity-packed, agency-produced spectacular for the new GOP “TV star”, that celebrity feel they once so reviled in a man less orange.

“House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) repeatedly emphasized in a Thursday press conference that his meeting with Donald Trump was just the start of the party’s unification process.”

Churchill: “Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?”
Socialite: “Well, I suppose, but we would have to discuss terms, of course.”
Churchill: “Would you sleep with me for a mere five pounds?”
Socialite: “Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?”
Churchill: “We’ve already established that. Now we are haggling about the price.”

We established long ago what kind of man Ryan is, but he and Trump have just begun to haggle over price.

Ryan will come around and take his place with the other GOP clowns in the Trump Circus or Trump’s enforcer, Moosilla DeVil Palin, will have to take him to the woodshed again on The Donald’s behalf:

Ill Douche …and … Il Duce

THAT’S Trump.

The fact that the MSM and the GOP consistently fail to see that is a Weberian Classical Sociological Nightmare. Structural-Functionalists’ papers and articles and seminars must be writing themselves:

The COMPULSION of people in social structures to uphold THEIR structure…no matter what. No matter about National Security, disastrous opinions about fellow Americans, you name it. This structural functional compulsion is so powerful with these types of people that it is tantamount to a fossil-fuel executive who lives in Florida rowing a canoe from his front door to a cab to take him to the airport so as to testify before Congress for MORE drilling–and the GOP Congress using his testimony to authorize it.

C’mon, Paulie, the Donald expects nothing less than full-throated endorsements!

The idea of trump and Ryan chatting about the constitution in any coherent way is laughable on its face

Now is the time to ask Trump about Supreme Court justices.
Get him to trot out some names, to put down a litmus test or two.
One thing I’ve noticed about Trump is that he NEVER says that he needs to consult with experts before delivering an opinion. He knows everything, yesterday.
He could make a major gaffe if people can get him to put out some specifics regarding SCOTUS now.

Ryan also said he found Trump “genuine”. Really? Even Trump and his campaign manager have admitted that Trump is an “entertainer” and that he was playing a role, etc. So we can add “Poor judge of character” to all the many other deficiencies in Ryan. The ONLY thing genuine about Trump is that is a genuine a-hole.

TPM:

“It’s very important that we don’t fake unifying, we don’t pretend unification, that we truly and actually unify so we are full strength in the fall,” he said in the press conference.

“If I pretend to have an orgasm,” Ryan continued, “we’ll just be putting our relationship on a dishonest foundation for the fall and did I just say that out loud?”

Funny. Ryan has been faking so much for so long, such as his Budgets and Gravitas. What big deal is one more item?

Republican males should be used to lots of faking…their women do it all the time.

“I won’t ‘fake’ unity”

My girlfriend said something like that the other night. Only it wasn’t “unity” she won’t be faking anymore.

Didn’t that last quote come from Kim Jong-Un? Or maybe it was Rev. Sun Myung Moon…

“I think when you’re beginning to get to know someone, you have a good conversation of trust between each other,” Ryan told reporters”

WTF does that mean?
