ā€œChairmanā€?
He’s supposed to be president. You know, there’s that thing called the U.S. Constitution that spells it all out. Also, you took an oath to support it. Idiots.

Ryan said. "I see him as more of a chairman, as a president where he gets people around him who are detail people who can execute those plans.ā€

Thanks ryan for finally telling a little tiny bit of the truth. You left out the most important detail of them all.
The ā€œdetailā€ people around the chairman don’t have a goddamn clue what to do except to execute themselves every time they open their mouths and the crap falls out.

ā€œAnd by ā€˜Chairman’ I mean an empty vessel with a signing pen, but with a certain adolescent, thin-skinned, vindictive, mean-spirited glaze.ā€

The latest reporting suggests Ryan is cozying up to Bannon for support of his dead-in-the-water border tax. I guess this bizarre title is an indication he’s moved his Rand tomes to storage to make room for some literature on ā€˜economic nationalism’.

@the_loan_arranger The Little Golden Book

@brooklyndweller Wasn’t it Norquist who said the quality of the president didn’t matter so long as they got someone with an R after his name in the Oval Office? Just any old sack of crap who can sign his name on whatever legislation needs passing.

Yep. Ryan is basically saying that Rump holds a position that’s more titular than functioning. Doesn’t make any actual decisions and even if he did, no one there would take them seriously. Of course, Rump is WAY too stupid to realize he’s been insulted.

Ryan even considered President Obama a true President.

Yep yep right right right Trump’s the big-ideas guy with the 35,000-foot view. Meantime he’s solved the problem of the hundreds of remaining unfilled roles requiring Senate approval by simply deciding he maybe just won’t fill them at all. Those big ideas will be realized and made into policy by some sort of undefined magical process. Easy peasy!
