Discussion for article #233259
Presumably the subsidies will have to be repaid in the states using the Federal exchange. That will make the GOPers real popular.
It will make for real interesting red state election results with thousands of people sick and tens of thousand dead and loved ones grieving over the bodies. All because the republicans donât like the black guy in the WHITE house.
I wish I could have my picture taken with Paul Ryan. Iâve never seen a walkinâ talkinâ rectum before.
Just in case you still werenât sure Ryan was a dick, he as now removed all doubt.
Sen. Robert Taft was extremely conservativeâwell to the right of Eisenhower, with whom he contested the Republican nomination in 1952. But he sponsored legislation for public housing, because he came to understand the terrible conditions in which people were living. He was a lot more humane than todayâs Republicans, who are willing to sacrifice the well-being of millions in order to advance their twisted ideology.
Paul Ryan has the type of fact you love to hit. You know, the clown face in the carnival you throw pies or water ballons at.
âI never met a problem I didnât refuse to fix.â #ImARepublican
Ryan also said heâs working with other Republicans on a âfull replacementâ for Obamacare,
Wait for it: Single payer!!
Yeah who would ever want the law thatâs working well for most Americanâs to be improved⌠wait a minute!
Ainât that the truth. Iâm hopeful that if the SC does invalidate the ACA, which I bet the wonât, they at least temper it in some way to protect all the people that would potentially lose access to healthcare. These heartless thugs (long gone are the days of âcompassionate conservativeâ, as if that oxymoron was ever a real thing) are clamoring for increasing the overall suffering in our country. It truly disgusts me.
Right, every single person will have to pay for their own medical expenses.
Again I say. Republican = Shrink government so small it will drown in bathtub. Thatâs their ideology. Thatâs their prayer. If people die to get that done, so bit it.
Of course they canât think of an alternative. They canât even pass the appropriations bills on time, even onceâŚ
it amazes me that people vote for these guys only to fucked over by them. And they do it again and againâŚ
This is easy for him to say now. Letâs see what tune he is playing when 10 million people are paying hundreds a month because congress wonât pass a one sentence fix that they could write and vote on in an hour.
He probably thinks people wonât notice. He probably thinks theyâll blame democrats for the failure to act. He is probably going to wondering why he ever deluded himself like that later.
In other words, Paul Ryan is STILL an asshole who doesnât give a crap about Americanâs health and doesnât mind that thousands will lose their health care.
I want to think youâre right, but I also thought that Dems would have enough damned sense to run ON the law, instead of from it in the last election cycle.
âWe all have our own opinions about these things,â he said. âEverybodyâs got their own ideas.â
Brownbacking America!
Cut upfront taxes! We can always come in through the back door. These guys are as stupid as they look. Whenever they want to block something, they start screaming, states rights, a real crock of bull. Why donât they say, âlet us add some confusion.â Hey Ryan, confusion is the fucking devil you phony pos.
Iâm sure there are a couple of âtrue believesâ, the Steve King types that want these subsidies invalidated, but I would think most republicans are secretly praying the SCOTUS does not throw out the subsidies. If they do, then republicans have to chose between their rabid base that they have stoked relentlessly the last six years, or the 10 million + that will lose subsidies and possibly have to pay backâŚthat is a loser anyway they slice itâŚthis is all rhetoric on their side right nowâŚwhich is easy to do when you dont have a real threat yet.
