I’m thinking that’s not gonna happen without Democratic votes in the House.
That’s so cute. Ryan thinks he can convince his caucus to act in what a rational person would conceive of as its best short term political and long-term strategic interests. Which, of course, means he’s a traitor to his party who must be purged.

Last year the House appropriations chair put forth a clean resolution. The tea baggers called that a huge concession and by the time they got done with it is was anything but. One tea partier inspired laughter on the talk shows by saying the Obamacare delay they attached to it was doing Obama a favor, I expect similar craziness this year.

The alternative to Ryan’s solution, one with which he very strongly disagrees, is for the country to hire a whole mess of Democrats come November.

Third day in a row for a Ryan fluff piece…Ferguson needs more local level control (NOT!); my life with my alcohol dad (poor me!); and, now, my ridiculous plans going into the fall elections, where control of the Senate is in doubt (brilliant!!!). How about trotting out those kids of his living off the alcoholic’s money plus their wealthy mommy’s trust? Or, how about running a story about Ryan’s only honest work…he drove the Oscar Meyer Weiner? You guys could fluff Ryan all next week if you put your minds to it!
