Discussion: Paul Ryan Plans To "Replace Every Word of Obamacare"

Says the guy whose budget blueprint so completely failed to add up that Republicans never once passed a budget on time.

WHY?

What a complete waste of time and our tax dollars. These con clowns donā€™t want to pay for anythingā€¦but, have no problem squandering our hard earned tax dollars on absolutely nothing!!

Like ā€œrepealingā€ Obamacare 60 timesā€¦to no avail. Like defunding everything. Like, ā€œspecial committeesā€ that do nothing but promote the gop/bag agenda.

Meh, I loath each and every one of them.

I wonder what he will replace the words ā€œhealthā€ and ā€œcareā€ with.

Someone put together a great story board that lists each time someone makes a very serious statement about repealing or replacing Obamacare. I canā€™t remember the little catch phrase, but itā€™s basically like a ā€œbreaking newsā€ or ā€œHappening Now!ā€ sort of thing that is used ad nauseum. Anyone know what Iā€™m talking about?

I bet he just updated it today.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

What is ā€œNothingā€, Alex?

Iā€™ll take Congressional Idiocy for 1000.

Do these even understand that any attempts to change Obamacare is political suicide nowadays?

ā€œRyan is asking his party to engage and take chances with bold proposalsā€ Yup, that same plan.

With, no doubt, exactly the same words, but typed by a republican staffer.

I think this has been said for about 6 years now. Longer when you consider they did not have an alternative plan during the process either. Just tried to trash everything. It also shows how crazy these guys are. They are willing to change a system that has been in place for a while just because. If they have potential improvements than fine. But to replace everything would create a pretty big mess.

Not to mention, I do not see a concrete plan coming, if any comes at all, it will be the bullet points that we always hear. Insurance sales accross state lines, state high risk pools, TORT reform and a few other things. Maybe some sort of voucher system that will probably have little valueā€¦

ā€œAll I can say is we will not be cowed. We are not here to smooth things over. We are here to fuck things up.ā€

Fixed his misuse of the word ā€œshakeā€.

Language talks and bullshit walks, Speaker boy. Donā€™t tell us what youā€™ve intended to do for the last six years, actually run it up the flagpole and see who salutes.

Legislation doesnā€™t kill people, legislators kill people.
