Discussion: Paul Ryan On Slayings Of Dallas Police: 'We Are All Outraged'

Did he make a statement about the killings of the two Blacks by the police this week?

he isn’t all that bright.

I see what happened in Dallas as being closer to what happened in Orlando, in the sense that one (or a few – we don’t know how many) person can in most states buy high capacity magazines and use them in automatic or semi-automatic weapons to blow people away, and there is no other reason at all for having these things available. Nearly every mass shooting has unfolded this way. People are dead before they even know what is happening. In these horrible police killings of innocent men – a daycare worker, in front of his own child! – police are basically turning themselves into judge, jury and executioner all in the name of some subjective perception of a “threat” they face even if it is objectively complete crap. This is a true civil rights problem and video cams don’t seem to be solving it or preventing it. The fact that black men are being killed for carrying guns which white men proudly claim to be their absolute right to do shows the racial bias at the heart of this issue.

Your sanctimonious BS is getting a little hard to swallow Ryan…how about another ‘investigation’ into something?

The “outrage bank” just informed Paul Ryan he’s out of funds.

Seems he’s overdrawn because he used it up frivolously - on the Dem sit-in, Benghazi, calling the FBI corrupt, starting another Hillary investigation…

This actually is outrageous. But this poor boy is outraged by everything.

and then says, “i got nuthin”.

nah, that was filed under: “shit happens”.

Outrage and prayer are superfluous, even insulting, when they are essentially being offered as a way of saying that you won’t be doing anything at all to actually lessen gun violence. It’s like offering your starving neighbor cut flowers from your garden instead of food.

Would that his “outrage” could move him to action. No other advanced country has this level of violence, this readiness to have and use firearms. And, for a country with foundational principles of welcoming immigrants (the “other”), due process and equal rights, there is way, way, way too much racism. Do something, Speaker Ryan.

Paul Ryan is NOTHING! You can’t even say that he is full of it… there is NOTHING to him. He is not a leader, he barely does anything… What he says is just talking points that will do NOTHING. Paul Ryan really needs to quit, go away somewhere and stop pretending that he is anything! He is nothing and does nothing!

I see cable news is bringing out all the wrong people for the most part to explain whats what.Rudy Gulliani ring a bell for one ?

Outrageous to insert himself into the equation.

These are the antics of a successful republicant and it is utterly shameful.

“‘We Are All Outraged’”

But…we’re not going to do anything about it!

Now, back to accepting huge buckets of cash from the nra…

Where was your outrage for the unarmed, black people that were killed this week?

I didn’t hear any “regrets” out of your hole about that.

So, Paulie Honey, when those lily-white ammosexuals supporting Trump come marching into Cleveland during your convention, what are you going to do about it?
Oh, and who are you going to support in this fiasco - the police, or the NRA?

How come I’m not seeing Ryan’s dearest lovers at the NRA defending the black man who was legally walking around with an unloaded rifle in open-carry Dallas, but was fingered as a suspect because of it? Seems like his Second Amendment rights were violated, no matter what the circumstances. I guess he shouldn’t have been wearing a camouflage T-shirt, right, Mr. LaPierre?
If only the people killed and injured in Dallas had been armed - just like if the black churchgoers in South Carolina had been armed when they were gunned down by Dylan Roof, or if the patrons of the Pulse nightclub had been armed when they were slaughtered - I suppose none of the casualties would have occurred in Dallas. Oh, wait…

Hey, Eddie Munster, if you’re so outraged, pass a gun bill.
