Discussion for article #226639
Amazing how so many white male idiots get elected to Congress.
Would Alisa Rosenbaum approve? Her writings are what Paul Rayn bases his beliefs upon
…and Paul Ryan gets a second shout out on TPM for doing…
Oh, right. Nothing.
Good job, everyone!
Sure, because the police are so very good at policing themselves.
I guess this nothing was televised, making it a more important nothing than the nothing appearing only in print earlier today.
Really? Paul Ryan?
If law enforcement had indeed done their job they would
have shot the wheels from underneath his weenie mobile
years ago---- so the shock would have made him STFU.
Obviously, Ryan knows as much about Ferguson as he he does about the economy=nothing.
He was an idiot this morning and a second article this afternoon has done nothing to improve his standing. AM…an idiot; PM…still an idiot. I’m assured that TPM will continue to monitor the situation and report any changes as time and space allows.
Dear Mr. Ryan: A big part of the problem IS the way law enforcement is doing their job. They killed a kid; stonewalled the public; gassed them repeatedly; pointed loaded weapons at them; released selective inflammatory stories about the dead guy; etc.
Sincerely yours,
a citizen who is not immune to police abuse (like you are)
The first phase is demanding Congress DO something!
How ya feel NOW, Eddie?
How you you pre-judge what has demonstrably happened over the past week? Seriously…
“…or to try and attach our own personal political agenda to this tragedy.”
I’m sure that Ryan has properly condemned Limbaugh’s politicization of Brown’s death as well as his horrendous statements about Robin William’s death.
If the police in Ferguson were actually doing their jobs, Michael Brown wouldn’t be dead and we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place.
um…Mr. Ryan, the problem is that we let law enforcement do their jobs…they did them horribly.
Who’s pre-judging? After a burst of gunfire, an unarmed black teen was shot in the top of his head, killing him. The officer wasn’t twelve feet tall, nor was he standing on a rooftop, so the plausible explanation is that he was slumping over from the previous shots.
Of course no one is proclaiming the officer guilty, however, it seems to me denying the facts is pre-judging. And certainly trusting this solely to the very law enforcement that inculcated this militarized culture is inappropriate.
But you’re Paul Ryan, so we expect you to be an asshole.
Ryan knows that all those people really need is a Free Enterprise Zone where burdensome environmental, safety and wage and hour regulations have been relaxed so the Magic of Markets can Work their Magic. Oh, and a big cut in any food assistance and other benefits that may be acting as a disincentive to take work, of course.
More stupidity from the empty suit fraud.
Is it just me or does it looks like Paul Ryan nose is growing like Pinocchio.
