'However, we can’t invite the whole world…"
I think the Statue of Liberty would disagree.
It is that very open invitation that created the nation we inhabit.
“When you say they’re doing an act of love and you don’t follow it up with, but we have to control the border, people think well because they’re doing this for kind reasons that the whole world can come to our country.”
THAT is artful, this guy’s a natural born politician… see how he pivots directly from act of love to control the border without a grammatical link?
How do these mumble-mouthed people ever make it in politics? Palin is the champ, but the rest of the Maniacs are almost as good.
Once again we see that fear of the “other” is alive and quite well in the Rand Paul version of the GOP. I’m paraphrasing here: “We can’t invite the whole world”.
“However, we can’t invite the whole world. When you say they’re doing an act of love and you don’t follow it up with, but we have to control the border, people think well because they’re doing this for kind reasons that the whole world can come to our country.”
He’s right this time. Really, really stupid people will tell others that “act of love” means Jeb wants the whole world to come to our country. Even stupider people will believe them.
