Maybe but it isn’t antithetical to libel. This should be fun. I’m sure FOX will try the kind of crap they pull in the USA ( like the bunk statement by them above ) with the expectation ( out of a sense of entitlement ) they will win. Not going to happen in Paris or with the French. They are pissed. Vive la France!!!

They will claim the French Court has no jurisdiction. Is Fox News broadcast in France?
While I’ve been to France many times, I can honestly say, I’ve never sought out Fox News.
Certainly parent 20th Century Fox (and News Corp) does business in France, but I’m not sure if that is enough.
If Paris can make this law suit stick, this could be a real problem for Fox. Western Europe and much of the rest of the work actually have libel and slander standards that hold media as accountable as they do individual with no public figure exemptions. And of course, Fox is pedaling lies daily.

This is the very least of what Faux Noos deserves with all the harm they’ve done on every conceivable level of society, polite or otherwise.
