Discussion: Panetta: Trump 'Forgot That He Was President' In Off-The-Rails Speech At CIA

Direct link to WaPo. Jeebus on a Triscuit. 72 hours into the new administration and the staff is already leaking like a sieve!

I hope he already has one which is bursting at the seams.

Amazingly well defended, Spencer’s Mom!

I need to reread Seven Days In May.
(This time I’ll root for the generals.)

@antisachetdethe

This story also confirms what we’ve always known about a press secretary’s statements. The president is speaking through him (or sometimes her.)

the new president issued a decree: He wanted a fiery public response, and he wanted it to come from his press secretary.

OT but quite funny and typical of Trump.
Not only was he the best baseball player in the world 50 years ago, he could have become a chess grandmaster with a couple of years work.
Pal Benko told him he’d need to be born again to have a chance:)

One thing is certain: When the inner White House shakeup comes, Lust Object’s husband will win. He is the only person who can tell that man what it’s like to do Lust Object on a daily basis.

Maybe that’s the secret----he literally describes the sex.

During the campaign, there was a story about how his was the only voice that had a calming influence on that man.

Poor Christie, He must regret he successfully prosecuted Kushner’s old man. He coulda been a contender. Instead of a bum which is what he is.

Four years of airing grievances begins today.

Kushner had a calming influence so he must be the Crazy Person Whisperer.

Yeah, it was apparent to me that Donald was taking out of his butt-hole in front of the Memorial Wall at CIA.

However, in Trump’s ā€œACTUAL WORLDā€, he could NOT ERASE the MEMORY of ALL OF the MARCHERS who had gathered all over the WORLD, DENOUNCING TURMP and his policies!

The sad thing is, Saturday, Jan 21, 2017 was just the FIRST ACT…there will be many more to come all over the US! Which will drive him CRAZY!

I watched Panetta’s comments. He tried to be decent but just could not help himself when he thought of people he knew who’s stars are on that wall. It was the least he could have said. It was apparent he was holding back what he really thought.

I called my Rep this morning and asked that exact question. And I’ll do it again tomorrow. And the day after. And the next, and …

Oh absolutely.

I really fear what his plans for the White House are. So far he’s got an identical knockoff of Reagan’s rug and Clinton’s old gold drapes in the Oval Office, so that’s not so bad, but given what happened in Moscow I can’t imagine what he’s doing to the family quarters. :frowning:

If anyone is in a position to know what he’s up to, they are.

If anyone is in a position to do something about it, they are.

I can’t bring myself to say I’m rooting for the CIA, but if the choice is Trump vs. America, I think they will do the right thing.

Oh, how I look forward to that day! Please, FSM, may it be tomorrow!
