I still have to wonder. How scared or paranoid does one have to be that they feel the need to carry a deadly weapon on their person at all times?

Can you imagine if a restaurant had to mealy mouth a request that customers leave their machetes, hand grenades or flame throwers at home?
But, no, a request to leave your semi-automatic rifle at home is seen as a risky proposition.
Restaurants can put a sign out banning bathing suits, but not guns? Give me a break, America.

The SECOND I walk into a restaurant and see somebody trying make a ‘point’ with his rifle slung over his shoulder is the second I make a point to the manager’s face by telling him I’m eating across the street specifically because he allows THAT kind of thing in his place.
