Using the label “racism” is never an answer. It is just a label. It is not a policy. It is just an insult. And if you think that 62,000,000 voted for Trump because they are racists, you should rethink your understanding of the election. For instance, take WI. In the election, it is alleged that 45K more votes were tallied for Senator (won by Ron Johnson) than were cast for President. In other words, a bunch of folks did not want to vote for either.
She never admitted to it - went right for diversion. The whole thing will be aired on CNN on Sunday. I don’t know if I can take that much KAC, but it might be interesting to see how much fight the Dems have in them.

And a significant reason the Dems lost – and it should always be pointed out, by “lose” we mean "won by 2.5 million votes but lost three key Rust Belt states by the narrowest of margins – is because the racists/bigots/xenophobes were extremely riled up by a candidate that spoke directly to them, and enough other people were willing to accept some racism/bigotry/xenophobia to get what they wanted.

Not sure where I said or implied that all 62 M are racists. Do you think that race had nothing whatsoever to do with each of those 62,000,000 votes? I agree that racism used as an insult is not helpful; but I think that trying to understand the effect that race had on the campaign is helpful. Choosing to support illegal immigrants isn’t a “huge mistake” in any way. It is important for our economy both currently and in the future. It’s realistic – they’re here and they aren’t going to disappear no matter how much Trumpalos hate them. And it just happens to be the right thing to do.

Hey, sometimes it is about race. Racism happens. But not very often.
For instance, lynching was a racist act. But nobody is lynched anymore.
What happened to Phalandro Castile is probably racist. Mike Brown, that was good policing. That 12 YO in Cleveland, possibly/probably racism. Many of the police killing - not racism.
The point of a term is that it should mean something. When it is used for everything, it means nothing. The liberal use of racism has removed the actual meaning from the word, and it is now a fact-free, truth-free ad hominim.
And as to the election, calling 62,000,000 people “deplorables” who have “white privilege” - why, yes, that pissed them off, and yes, it did make them more interested in Trump. People HATE false accusations.
