Thereās no point in getting into an argument about Zionism or the rights of the Jewish people. They have rights to a modern homeland and they have a right to have it in their ancestral one. Itās how theyāre going about it that sucks.
Thereās nothing the USA can do to lessen Jew / Muslim animosity. It will never end. But thereās no reason for the USA to enter that fight in a way that pisses off a large swath of the world. Has Holland done that? South Africa? Peru? No they stay neutral and ask for both sides to find peace. But not us. Weāve saddled up with Israel and itās not polite to talk about why so I wonāt.
