The older, wiser senators understand how the game is played and have become masters of it. People like Hatch, McConnell, McCain et al are going to screw this guy with his pants on. If you can’t run with the Big Dogs stay on the porch.

He just wants a simple vote on ‘Obama’s amnesty’. GOSH Senator there’s no bill OUT there for ‘amnesty’. Try telling the truth once in a while and trying to be so CLEVER and maybe you wouldn’t constantly piss people off.

Waiting on that amnesty vote could take a while. Cruz is fighting the wrong fight at the wrong time and he is wrong about all of it.

I think more GOPers are envious that he is hogging the spotlight and soaking up campaign donations. That is what is causing them to fume. They don’t care about the tactics. It’s all about the money.
This dysfunctional behavior in our Congress should be the GOP brand in everyone’s eyes. Elect republicans and you get dysfunction. Hang this rotting piece of meat around their necks. By rotting meat I mean the behavior of Cruz and friends. Why can’t our Congress pass a budget in a timely manner? The rest of us must pay our bills on time …why can’t they? Why must this brinksmanship happen all the goddam time?
Because they are too busy writing in poison bills to screw the citizenry while helping out their business friends in exchange for big campaign donations. There is a whole lot of screwing the public in this bill like helping business steal your pension funds.

Cruz and Lee could have had the same vote on Monday but by insisting on it they kept everyone in DC over the weekend. This pissed off his own party members and gave more time to approve Obama’s judicial nominations. Perhaps Cruz will realize that debating and strategy are not the same, but, I doubt it.
Luckily in my case should the pension I’m on go tits up that would mean the State of Arizona is bankrupt as well. I suppose that is a possibility, however…
