How does Bill Orally explain the highly successful economies of the Scandinavian nations and The Netherlands?
Any student of history knows from whence OâReilly speaks. The mix tapes of DJ Heroditus took down Constantinople, and Dizzy G Aquitaintis didnât help matters.
If Christianity is unable to compete with rap music (a few decades ago it was rock nâ roll) that is their fault, not the musicâs. Itâs like blaming Apple for IBMâs problems.
PS-Based on the number of failed rappers in places like the UK and France who have gone over to ISIS and AQAP, Islam seems to have better marketers.
The secularization of America is the best defense against Sharia Law. Bill should be hugging atheists.
And televangelical cashing in on religion had nothing to do with people seeing it as a superstitious scam.
Tammy Faye smites you!!! No soup for you!!! Arrrggh!!!
Okay, second best defense. The best defense is that fears of Sharia Law in America are nonsense.
You know, heâs right. This society did once talk more about giving everyone a better standard of living, better opportunities, a decent shot at contributing the most they could. And that seems less possible now. But it wasnât because of rap. Or rock. Or jazz. Or waltzing, for Christâs sake. Itâs because of you, Bill. You and people like you. It isnât, and never is, because of passing fads in entertainment. Bluenosed idiots always panic over stuff like that. Any competent student of history knows that much.
Bill.
He doesnât. And donât get him started about the Founding Fathersâ deistic streak. And @phlebas , Bill shouldnât be hugging it out with anyone. The last time he did it was kinda expensive
I thought it was the gays.
HA! Fair enough.
Restraining order comes in, restraining order goes out. You canât explain that!
What an ignorant fool. Any sentence that starts out âThe founding fathers didnât want a secular nation becauseâ is automatically BS, because thatâs exactly what they did want.
Something must have given Christianity a bad nameâŚ
To specifically comment about what OâReilly said. As a teen in the 50s, I first heard about the decline of organized religion then in the 60s and 70s we had articles like Timeâs âIs God Deadâ cover in 66 and books âWithout Marx or Jesusâ in 71. All before Rap Musics first recording in 79 with Rapperâs Delight.
But then in the 50s it was âPreachersâ talking about the demon Rock&Roll, before that how evil Jazz was, etc, etc, etc lastly donât forget the criticism of flappers in the 20s destroying society.
So in other words black people are at fault. Thanks black people!
But I know why I hate religion. When your religion is represented by people such as Ann Coulter (note the cross around her throat), Franklin Graham, Fox News (war on Christmas, white Santa and white jesus), Bill Donahue, Evangelicals, Michelle Bachmann, the republican party, boy diddling priests, and a whole host of worthless, wretched, specimens of humanity, the only thing I can think of is to run in the opposite direction. One pope Francis cannot make up for this heinous bunch. The same goes for Islam. You can call it a religion of peace all day long, but its extremists have destroyed its positive image for a long time to come. There is supposed to be a loving God somewhere in these religions, but Iâve never seen any signs of love or compassion in anything that ever comes out of the aforementioned Christian mouths.
It was âJAZZâ in the 1920s.
It was âTHE BLUESâ in the 1930s.
It was âSWINGâ in the 1940s.
It was âROCK âNâ ROLLâ in the 1950s.
It was âPSYCHEDELIC ROCKâ in the 1960s.
It was âDISCOâ in the 1970s.
It was âHEAVY METALâ in the 1980s.
It was âGRUNGEâ in the 1990s.
It was âRAPâ in the 2000s.
There is ALWAYS SOMETHING for the moralists who sit on high and condemn whatever it is that they think keeps the rubes from sending them money.
I believe itâs âChristiansâ like OâReilly.
What a hypocrite. Is rap music the reason this nutjob got âdivorcedâ and asked the Catholic Church for an annulment? Is rap music the reason heâs engaged in a custody battle with his âex-wifeâ? Iâd love to know whether heâs taking confession on Saturday and sitting in the pew on Sunday. Whenâs the last time you took communion, Bill?
