Discussion: O'Reilly, Coulter Blast 'Cowardice' Of Christians In Defending Their Faith (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #234988

Old, whiny, wealthy white Christians who scream about Christianity all day every day on a national network, in books and on the internet to the audience of millions of devoted listeners complaining about how oppressed they are. It’s performance art at this point. Hate, lies, constant fear mongering and incessant whining for profit - these two are the worst representation of modern Christianity. At this point they’re just caricatures of a perversion of it.

Nothing but sport. Those two are probably like fans up in the seats at the Coliseum, back in the day, when a centurian guard let a lion loose on the floor: “C’mon, Christians!! Fight!!”

You know, when I think of the values that Jesus taught, those two DO come to mind…as examples of unChristian behavior. I never saw a bigger pair of vicious hypocrites in my life.

Wow, Ann Coulter defining Christian courage as refusing to serve gay people and denying service to them as the moral equivalent to helping Ebola patients. I’m fairly certain that isn’t what Jesus stood for.

I have things on the bottom of my shoe with more integrity than this heartless harridan harpy.

Great comment, THX.

Quick question. Anybody ever SEEN Ann Coulter in church on a regular basis?

Does she tithe?

Just askin.

Just in case anyone questions it later, let the record show that O’Reilly was right there on the front lines of his show where he battled with the skeleton-wraith to see how far soul of the America could jump the shark.

These people are wrong even about the things they agree on:

O’Reilly then lamented that “there are no clerics in America — zero — who put themselves out to defend the Christian faith.”

“It is cowardice. Most people would rather risk getting Ebola than getting called a homophobe or racist,” Coulter concluded.

First of all, O’Reilly’s choice of “cleric” in this context is interesting here: It’s a generic term, yes, but these days that word tends to have the adjective “Muslim” preceding it. Secondly, he’s apparently not been listening to Mike Huckabee or Franklin Graham enough. Alas (for them and for him).

And secondly, Coulter needs to refresh her memory of the definition of “cowardice.” It’s particularly rich that she is saying these things on Maundy Thursday, of all days. The greatest act of bravery a Christian can engage in is the serving of those with whom you do not agree–it’s in the act of meeting them at the level of a commonly-shared humanity. “Just as I am,” as the hymn says, but just as they are, too.

Old, whiny, wealthy white Christians who scream about Christianity all day every day on a national network, Perfect! They have perverted Christian ideals into a grifters paradise. Next up Bill’s new book Killing Fags: The New Crusades while Ann opens a crowdfunding site for removal of her Adam’s apple to complete the transition.

Two more reasons why millions of people walked out of churches and will never go back!

Like every other phony “¢hri$tian” Republican, KKKolter talks the Jesus talk and walks the Ayn Rand walk!

These two are as Christian as my Jewish tuchus. The closest they come to thinking about the Lord on Sunday is when they get their lattes around 11:00 and say, “God, that’s good!”

Waldorf and Statler.

Neither one has a passing understanding of what it means to be a Christian, but they sure can kibbitz from the balcony.

“These small town owners of pizzeria have raised more Christian cash than most Christian leaders”, Coulter added.

There fixed it for you Ann.
Their gofundme page is up to $495,451. Those poor dears. Meanwhile, a family who’s infant needed life saving heart surgery could only raise 89,000 in a few weeks. The right to express bigotry pays better in the Christian world.

What Ann Coulter wrote about Max Cleland was so despicable that I will not waste good snark on that women.

Like Glenn Beck, both Bill O’Reilly and Ann Coulter should have the courage and religious conviction to demand that their viewers not vote for the Republican party.
