This is absolutely insane. They’re criticizing the father of a 5 year POW in order to somehow deny President Obama a win. Next time someone says Republicans were just as hateful during the Clinton years, I’m going to remind them of this. This is pure evil.

If my son were held prisoner by any foreign entity, I too would be learning the language in the hope that I might be able to use it - to free him or to negotiate for better conditions or whatever. Seems like a SMART thing to do. Jeez, these idiots. (And yes, the dad could put on a bandana and look just like a Duck guy)

They do seem to be lurching from one crazy psuedo-scandal to the next. I don’t know if this is an attempt to gin up the base or if it’s because they’re realizing they have nothing on Obama or anyone in his administration. But I do agree that this is certain to lead to massive overreach.
