I am a farmer and raise lots of cattle. I rent pasture from several of my neighbors. Twice a year I pay the rent. If you don’t pay someone who will gets the pasture. Simple as that. It looks like I am competing with a no-pay deadbeat.
His arrangement would certainly be a way to make the bottom line look much better! It would seem that his profits are coming from a loss to the taxpaying public.
