Discussion for article #246447

Freedom is not free. More tax cuts are needed to cover this patriotic event.

These numbers should be added to the millions the Bundys already owe taxpayers for the cattle grazing mooching.

Just auction say … half … of their gun hoards —

That should cover it —

This time they’ll pay in full. The Feds have realized that this standoff happened because they did not adequately punish the first Ted Bundy standoff.

Charge the Bundy Ranch and that Nevada lawmaker, Michelle Fiore. And this time, actually collect the money.

Will Oregon accept cows in lieu of cash?

OK, this seems simple.

$3.3 million divided by X number of people arrested equals amount owed by each of the patriot movement white trash.

Easy, huh?

This should have cost a couple hundred bucks but, if we can count on anything, we can count on our police state overreacting to non-violent protesters with overwhelming violence and force.

A ‘couple of hundred bucks?’

What do you think the police get paid? I’m really curious.

‘Overwhelming violence and force?’

You mean shooting a guy who makes a move toward his gun when being arrested? The rest of them meekly surrendered. Where’s the overwhelming violence?

I mean, it’s not like they murdered their kids and then immolated themselves.

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit, is it.

“Employees for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management who were unable to go to work at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge were paid a total of $425,000 during the standoff, according to The Oregonian.”

Even if not one law enforcement official was called in, $425,000 is a bit more than “a couple hundred bucks.”

They aren’t done costing the taxpayers money. They will be a burden to us as long as they live.

Well at least it wasn’t all for nothing.

Which means that if we taxpayers wish to not have them be a burden to us (meaning costing us $-0- from here on out), we have one of two options:

  1. Let them go and erase the balance due. Or
  2. Use our 2nd Amendment rights and …

I, for one, will be happy to pay my share of their room and board at the nearest federal penitentiary.

Dorks like this do shit like this all the time. They cost us $17 million at Waco more than 20 years ago just issuing reports–which they SCREAMED for–investigating their kooky ideas. And that was just the REPORTS. We’re three days away from the 23rd anniversary of THAT clusterfuck.

I don’t know HOW much investigating the Oklahoma City Bombing ended up costing. And that was just the INVESTIGATION.

If these guys want to waste money, how come they don’t stick to their own? Is that cause they can’t waste what they don’t have?

Luckily beef prices are still pretty high so when Bundy’s herd is rounded up…

Or better yet, melt the damn things down and call it even.

Just out of curiosity, for comparison’s sake, what’s the cost of a Predator Drone for 1 hour and 1 Hellfire missile?

Even if you sold ALL of their guns you wouldn’t raise enough money to even BEGIN to cover the cost of what these idiots cost all of us. This is mainly because most of them don’t have a pot to piss in.
