If they really don’t want to be shot, I suggest that they prove that they are unarmed by stripping down to their underpants and walking towards the FBI position, one at a time, arms raised. then when they get within 50 feet, lying on the ground in the prone position.
You try to make a fool of the federal govt. and the federal govt. is liable to show that it is a lot better at making a fool out of you.
The federal rap sheet for these guys is at least a decade long right now even without charges like sedition. They are going to be facing charges of conversion of federal property to their own use, intimidating federal officers, illegal use of force. And because they were armed when the crimes were committed, most of the charges have large mandatory sentence extensions tacked on.
