50 years ago, a pretty, young female acquaintence asked me to marry her for similar reasons. I said sure, as long as I can claim regular conjugal visits. That was the end of the negotation.

Five thousand dollars? I know a girl who was offered thirty thousand dollars to marry a foreigner who wanted citizenship last year. Man has inflation spiraled out of control. Thanks, Obama. Even the cost of fake marriages has gone up.
But meanwhile, all anyone has to do to become a citizen is line up and fill out the paperwork. Or so say anti-immigration folks who are angry at all the people who come in illegally. And theyâre never wrong.

What does this have to do with anything? TMZ, sorry, I mean TPM, really should be focusing on important political coverage of which there is plenty. I fail to see how this Politico=style piece about a governorâs girlfriendâs decisions 15 years ago has any relevance at all.

Sorry, no funny stories. Just more stories of supposedly trained current or former law enforcement officers unintentionally discharging weapons as a demonstration of the risk of having teachers or staff carrying weapons at schools. Only 1 mourning family after this pair of screwups.
26-year-old David Kedra of East Coventry Township, Chester County was mortally wounded Tuesday in an accidental shooting at a Plymouth Twp. firing range.
âItâs with an extremely heavy heart and deep sorrow that I announce the tragic death of Trooper David Kedra of Troop K, Skippack station,â State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said in a statement Tuesday night.
According to Noonan, Kedra was shot in the chest during a training exercise at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Complex on the 1100 block of Conshohocken Road around 4:45 p.m.
Sources say he was in a classroom for a demonstration of how to break down and clean his service weapon. They say an experienced state police firearms instructor was handling a gun that somehow misfired.

A criminal justice instructor at Technology Center of DuPage in Addison accidentally discharged a handgun during class Friday afternoon, striking a file cabinet and hollow wall, officials said.
The instructor, a retired FBI agent, wasnât authorized to have the gun on school property, said Jim Thorne, the schoolâs director.
âItâs not part of the curriculum. Itâs nothing we knew he had,â Thorne said.
Three students were watching the instructorâs demonstration about 1:30 p.m. in an office adjacent to a classroom, where other students were preparing for the start of class, Thorne said.
No one was struck by the bullet, which ended up lodged in another classroom, he said.

This is an OUTRAGE!!! If the governorâs fiance was involved in this kind of crime against humanity back in the 20th century, it clearly disqualifies him from public service. How do we know this âimmigrantâ wasnât an Islamoterrorist? How do we know that Kitzhaber didnât allow this because he wants more terror attacks in our country?
