Governor is doing a better job saving lives in Oregon than their insurance exchange is.

Kitzhaber is a man of action. It is good to see a professional doing what he was trained to do.

His problem is he is not as good installing a health exchange website.

Like most conservamorons, you cannot distinguish between health insurance and health care. The two are not the same.

Physicians know nothing about insurance. There is no relationship between health insurance and health care.

My brother brought that great Fox “News” item to my attention, so I looked it up. Yes, their dedicated computer program hasn’t worked (yet), but their paper and pencil system is up and going great guns. This is called making do and getting the job done.

The computer system is a full on disaster - but you are correct that people are being signed up. There have been ads on TV and radio with contact numbers and an outreach program.

Not to mention that Dr. John developed The Oregon Health Plan in 1986 to provide health care to people who would not otherwise have health care. It’s had funding problems over the years, but the major reason that people were able to sign up anyway is because there were systems in place.

Kitzhaber has done great work for Oregon for 35 years, in and out of government. That he is a hero is just a bonus.

Seventy-six thousand Oregonians are insured via the Cover Oregon exchange. Many thousands more via Medicaid expansion. Thanks, Dr. Kitzhaber and Oregon Legislature!

Look guys the FBI wouldn’t be looking into it if it went smooth. I have no interest in bashing their system, but, clearly it’s really screwed up, so relax and don’t be so reflexive. I would like nothing more than for it to work properly.

The FBI and HHS have an open investigation into Oregon blowing 300+ million for a system that’s not close to functional. I’d say there’s a problem. I would love nothing more than for it be fully functioning at 100%, but, what they did here is an abomination.
