May the media gods send TPM copy editors for Christmas!

Looks like the Times beat itself with a TKO.

Haha…forever proof that they all choose and fabricate the narrative before they even have the facts.

As for TK, I was trying to figure it out…not being one of these people (like those at the NYT or on CNN, et al) who isn’t really a journalist but likes to play act as one…and all I could come up with was “THAT KENYAN”, but it didn’t really make sense in context.

TK - Proofreader’s insertion mark for data to come. Sometimes written as TKTK.

Wanna volunteer free of charge (or a prime membership)?

Edited to add that there are plenty of people here who could do the proofreading. For free, even.

It is every journalist's nightmare. May the media gods spare TPM.

Are you trying to tell us that someone edits TPM stories? There is no indication of this in the stories.

Damn. Nicely done.

At least they scooped everyone else.

The ultimate inside story that no American not heavily invested in the media cares about. Even a tiny little bit.

No one gives less than a shit.

I love you Eustace. That was special indeed

TPM has its head up its ass. Have you ever written to Josh to ask him a civil question and gotten a nasty response. I have, several times.

I used to get paid for it. A vanishing career path!

No, actually, I’ve written to him, and received a considerate, well thought-out response. Makes me wonder how civil your question was!

Seriously, TPM, as egregious as this might have been on the Times’s part (and it is called the Times, Dylan, not the Time), you are in absolutely no position to criticize another news organization for its lack of editing.

Do you ever read the comments on this site and see the many complaints about the poor or no editing?

That’s because you are a Prime member. If you aren’t prime… Pando: Democratizing career progression

Edited to make clear that this is all in fun. I haven’t written Josh and he hasn’t sent me anything, not even poop.

You report about this but not about the NYTimes story on how Al Sharpton does not pay income or payroll taxes and claims not to own anything? Is TPM afraid of Sharpton? More and more TPM is bottom feeding for the stories Ariana Huffington left on the floor. In short, it is digital fish wrap.

No, like txvoodoo I’ve written many times and only gotten a few reponses but they’ve always been civil.

Clearly the person who wrote this is completely unaware of any concept of irony.
