Discussion: One Of The Polling Companies Trump Fired In Fit Of Pique Was Started By Conway

It’s hard to get your head around the full extent or count the many layers of the irony of Trump firing a company started by KAC for telling the truth.

abruptly parted ways with three pollsters, one who headed a company founded by White House counselor Kellyanne Conway.

Grifters grifting grifters. Is there an enigma thing here somewhere? It always confuses me. Wouldn’t be surprised if a family member was running the operation with mom sitting on the board. And pulling out ‘consulting fees’ annually - before filing taxes showing a loss.

So at what point do they have trouble getting polls done because trump has fired all the pollsters? (Of course then they’ll just lie to him about who’s doing the work and who’s been fired, the way that some publications used to keep a couple of nonce names on the masthead just so they could be fired if something went too far wrong)

Does the Kremlin require that the polling be "real’? Won’t they need real numbers so that they know what state election board computers to hack, and which Facebook accounts need salted with lies?
This could be a problem. Maybe they can have “real” polling for the Kremlin and “Trump” polling for everyone else.

Who among us ever thought Drumpf had a chance in hell of ever becoming POTUS? Remember that feeling of shock and dismay as the 2016 returns revealed the horror? Well, given that the average American is as dumb as a box of rocks, why is it not easily believable that the Orange Oaf of Office will get re-elected? It terrifies me to think that it might happen. Polling doesn’t mean a friggin’ thing; he did it in '16, why not 2020? (Dems better take nothing for granted. Nothing.)

why does Trump already have three (probably more) polling companies working for his campaign?

I mean, you get the sense that they exist to compete on ways to find “good news” to give Trump.

Or maybe they cycle through “growing support” numbers… Each week, a couple of the polls show that Trump’s approval ratings are going up, while two other show it going down. Trump gets shown the two “good” polls only. The next week, the polls reverse themselves…

It’s 100% about his brand. That’s what motivates everything he does. It’s why he ran for president and what he thinks about all day. How does this affect my brand? Small crowd size, bad poll results? Bad for the brand.

So maybe Kellyanne and George are really on the same page and Kellyanne has been the leaker all along and the writer of the NYT op-ed!

It’s always nice to be reminded how incestuous every facet of this White(s Only) House is in absolutely everything they do.

As was said in The Rocky Horror Picture Show “Incest is best.”

Nailed it.

And if you don’t deliver the good news, well, you’re fired!! (by someone other than Hair Twitler).

Which makes for an interesting question of who owns the polling companies? Do Russians know how to do shell companies?

There is no “truth” in Trump’s world. Only leverage, legalities and litigation manipulation

Eh, they’d just make up their own numbers and use them as a reason not to vacate the WH in January of 2021 because THEIR polls show that he won in a landslide.

The emperor only hires polling firms that tell him his clothes are beautiful.

All three companies will be back on board within a couple weeks, and Trump probably won’t know anything about it.

They tried to act like real pollsters rather than sycophants. Apparently they didn’t know that Trump cannot bear bad news.
