It’s just interesting how one little example of really low rent retaliation that came right out of Christie’s office, whether he actually knew exactly what they were up to or they were maintaining plausible deniability for him while doing exactly what he wanted, has led to such widespread exposure of top to bottom corruption.
Back at the beginning of Bridgegate the attorney publicly making up and insisting on obvious nonsense about a traffic study was amazing. Being evasive etc. in an interview is one thing. Totally lying in a public forum is really something else.
Everyone in the Christie administration including Christie has been lying all over the place about everything.
Apparently Christie ran the prosecutors office the same way, reaching out to every corner of the state. His government is obviously a statewide modern Tammany Hall.
Let’s just hope that the Justice Department keeps at it and puts all the pieces together and gets to the guy on top. Maybe it has been long enough for the Obama administration to de-politicize the corrupt Bush II Justice Department.
